It all started out this morning when it was time to go to school. I was so exhausted I could barely get off my bed. My alarm was beeping and screaming at me, "GET UP, GET UP!" It was another day of school, another part of life just like I always say. I quickly got up, got changed and off I went to school. Like always my mom and dad drop me off at school. Then I went to the Armory to walk instead of in the track cause it was cold.
Then the bell rang and we all went back inside to our homeroom. I got my coat off and hung it up on a hook. After that I quickly packed up for reading, lang. arts, and spelling. Mrs. Hudson was doing lunch count. I got crispy chicken on a bun. After she was done doing lunch count she told us to stand up for the Pledge of Allegiance. We then went off for reading.
In reading today Mrs. Mac gave us back our worksheet from last weekend. We went over it and redid the one's we missed. She then gave us the Weekly Assessment that we didn't have time to do last weekend, so we got it finished. I didn't get homework in reading. Wow that went really fast, and it was time for lang. arts.
In lang. arts Mrs. Dux asked for our character sketches. Then she told us to get out our lang. arts book. We went over part A. lesson 42. We started part B. but it was time to go so we had to finish the whole lesson 42 and Ind. work. I had homework but not alot. Next it was off for spelling with Mrs. Mac.
In spelling we did a coloring worksheet. They were supposed to be for Mrs. Cerny who just had a knee surgery and one for Isaac who has bone cancer. Were supposed to cut them out and write something like Get well or Merry Christmas Well look at that. It was already time to go to science class. That was so fast.
Today in science we checked over last week’s homework pg.387 vocab. Then we opened up our books to page 389 on comparing Boron and Nitrogen. I was doing my homework, but it was already time for lunch.
At lunch we had crispy chicken on a bun. I had crispy chicken salad and apple sauce YUMMY!!!!. Then it was recess time, but we couldn't go outside cause it was too cold. Instead we had indoor recess.
I played battleship with Evelyn, and I got her many times. Luckily she only hit me 4 times. Then recess was over and Mrs. Hudson gave us back our leather rounds that we made in art. We put on something that looked like Vaseline. She punched holes in it and we went to hang it up on the Christmas tree by the office.
Then she read Peppermints in the Parlor just for a little bit. We then headed to library. Mrs. Johnson read us the book called The little Red Hen. Once she was done she handed us a paper compare and contrast with The little Red Hen and Cockle - Doodle - Doo.
We headed out to music. In music we had to get markers and marker boards. Mr. Roby told us to put our phone number or make up one. I made one up. He told us to go to the piano keys and practice for tomorrow.
Mrs. Hudson picked us up from music and we headed to math. We checked over last week’s homework and got marker boards with markers. We wrote our answers on the boards. Then we had pg. 120 numbers 7-15 even.
In social studies she gave us sour patch kids because she had difficult problems with the clickers, so we had to click them in all over again.
With less day and lot of homework the day was over. I don't go to band so I stay and do homework. I didn't have a lot, so I'd get it done. Good day my fellow citizens.
