Beep beep beep! The sound of my alarm clock woke me up Friday morning like usual. I dragged down stairs and ate a bowl of cereal before I knew it it time was for school.
At school we walked the track while Jack Frost nipped at our nose in the crisp morning. After the bell rang, we went to our rooms for the lunch count and flag salute. It was time for reading class.
In reading class, we took AR tests. We did this because every week we have a leveled reader we need to read and take an AR test on for a grade. Geeze it was already time for reasoning and writing.
In reasoning and writing, we talked about roving reporter. I was the next person to do it, so I got the trusty camera.
After a while we had spelling. In spelling we took an L to J quiz. Some of the words we had were props, greatest common factor, and Newton’s Law of Motion.
In science we also did an L to J quiz. After the quiz was over, we got in a discussion about exoskeletons and Mrs. Hudson showed us a tarantula’s exoskeleton. Then it was time for lunch.
We had homemade beef pizza for lunch. At recess I just moved around to stay warm.
Next it was time for library. We watched a video for Veteran’s Day. We had art after that and just watched Pinocchio.
After that we had math. In math we did a work sheet on bar graphs. I got done early, so I had some time to read my book.
The next class was social studies. In social studies we played a game. The game was about getting to the end so you could eat your m&m’s.
In study hall we watched Pinocchio for fun Friday. That is when you get all your work done and had no think times all week.
At the end of the day, instead of the waves of students like usual, there wasn’t as much due to the snowfall.
